I am a second-year student of the School of Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations - QUT Business School. My research interests include destination marketing and experience studies. More specifically, my research study focuses on destination features travellers consider as important for transformative travel which captures tourism offers that lead to positive, long-term changes within individuals. By connecting these destination features to travellers' personal values, I intend to suggest ways in which transformative travel can be marketed in a more personal/individualistic way, opening up new destination positioning opportunities.

Presently, an increasing number of individuals expect to be transformed during travel. Interestingly, what triggers such transformations is highly subjective and personal. This portrait represents destination features travellers from Australia consider as having a transformative impact on them.
Note: photos were curated from the researcher's own collection of travel photos with a few photos from pexels.com to better represent the subject matter.
